Bill Schulenburg has been recording, mixing, and mastering music for decades, working with artists like Ike Turner, Head East, Pavlov’s Dog, Stevie Nicks, and Manfred Mann for major record labels including A&M, Columbia, Motown, RCA, and Warner Brothers; producing and directing films, videos, and long-form features for web, interactive, and broadcast; designing and editing sound and picture for network TV and radio programming and commercials, podcasts, video games, audiobooks, animation, industrial and feature films, live concerts, and theatre.

The St. Louis Vice-President of the Missouri Valley Local of SAG-AFTRA, Bill is heard nationwide as a freelance voice actor on radio and television as the syndication promo voice of Mike Judge’s long-running animated FOX television series, “King of the Hill,” and in commercials for CBS, Showtime, Anheuser-Busch, and many others.

Bill is one of just 31 veteran recording professionals nationally featured in the book “How Does It Sound Now: Legendary Engineers and Vintage Gear” (Gottlieb: Cengage Publishing.) He is a Life Member of the Recording Academy Producers and Engineers Wing, ASCAP composer, Adjunct Professor of Audio Aesthetics and Technology at Webster University, and Life Member and Chair of the Audio Engineering Society St. Louis Regional Section.

Jim Singer is a 35-year radio veteran. His work includes seven years as an on-air personality, as well as more than 28 years as a production director and ultimately program director for several St. Louis area stations.

Prior to coming to Webster, Singer was a professor at UMSL and taught several broadcast courses including Introduction to Radio and Television Announcing, Radio Production, Radio and the Recording Industry and Broadcasting in America. He also helped bring UMSL students their first student-run Internet radio station and was the station’s chief advisor. In his first year as a professor, Singer was awarded a certificate of appreciation for his contribution to student academic success.

Singer continues to do freelance voice work and can be heard on commercials throughout St. Louis. He also teaches a voice-over course at Clayton Studios for those interested in voice work. Singer’s easy-going, enthusiastic style makes students feel comfortable as they learn in a fun and focused environment.
